I would not spend a dollar here or deal with Greg in anyway. I have a store credit for a few thousand dollars from an order that there was a mistake.
I ordered a light early last year, that he said he would order. After literally months and months of emails and phone calls and broken promises by Greg, he still has my money, and no new light.
He doesn't respond to emails or answer the phone at the store anymore. He is a crook. I am not asking for my money back, just to use my credit.
If anyone knows what action I can take, maybe through the BBB or somewhere else, please let me know
I would give a ZERO star if I could. Also, I am not a first time customer, I have spent thousands of dollars already with Greg. Stay away.
His staff there knows he's a crook too. There's nothing they can do.

Verified ReviewerAVOID THIS PATHETIC COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
Question: If a website says "Delivery Time: 7-10 business days" and you order a chandelier (which was supposed to be a Christmas present) on November 29, 2019 , your credit card is charged $4,318.00 days later, and you never received your order by Christmas, you never received your order by end of January, you never received your order by end of February...3 months have gone by...all the while listening to LIES about expected delivery, would you be PISSED OFF?" Of course.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE.
This company has repeatedly LIED about my order. I was informed by Greg Shapiro, the President on January 24th that my order was in and that I will receive a tracking number in the days ahead. Well, it's February 25, 2020...3 months after my order...and this company has still not fulfilled the order. No matter...I have cancelled my order.
And beware about that, because buried 3 pages deep is their cancellation policy. Nowhere does it say there will be a "50%" restocking fee (it just says "restocking fee"), but that it what this pathetic company threatened me with.
How horrible of a person and a company can you be threatening customers with loan shark 50% restocking fees? Obviously, this company has ZERO morals, ZERO customer service, ZERO integrity.
In short, DO NOT BE DECIEVED by all the fake 5 star reviews on Google (funny how nearly all of them have only done 1 review ever which is an obvious sign of fake reviews).
This company deserves to go out of business. Do NOT give them yours.

Preferred solution: I got my order after months of lies. So no resolution needed. Sorry, but this email address is not valid and not the one I used with this horrible company. I'm afraid they will track me down for this review. But people need to know the truth.

Review the bulk of the texts here. the statements are true.
this is a joke of a company. They run it out of their garage. They just have catalogs of lighting stuff. You order from them, they take your money, then possibly think about placing an order with the manufacturer.
You can do the same thing yourself. Save yourself, these guys are not worth the trouble or effort you will have to endure to get what you want.
You will wind up paying twice. And have to order from someplace else when all said and done

Worst company ever
Like a prior consumer, my experience with Bowery was horrible. I first made an order and waited for a very long time.
Received nothing. I then contacted them and asked to cancel the order and suddenly, the item shipped so I was unable to cancel. Once the item arrived, it was not at all what I ordered. I thought there was a mistake and called to explain the error.
They then told me that "items may vary from the description given" ...huh??
I have been asking for an RMA number for two weeks now...nothing....
This company should be shut down.
I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and will take them to small claims court if necessary. They should not be in business.
